Tools that Help Students Learn
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on PinterestShare on Whatsapp

The advent of virtual learning tools has changed the education platform. Students no longer depend on the teacher for all learning resources. The internet has provided numerous pre-prepared materials to teach the same concepts the students are learning in class. It expands the options for students, allowing them to learn wherever they are and at any time they wish.

Some tools cover specific topics while others cover a range of disciplines. The tools are developed by learning institutions or organizations involved in education. The content comes from vetted contributors like teachers or maybe a free-for-all, providing the variety that students need.

A good learning tool must include the highest quality of content possible. It should be accessible, especially using the usual gadgets like laptops, phones, and tablets that students use daily. Further, it must be affordable to students. I have used such tools to find a professional who can write my paper cheaply.

Here are outstanding learning tools for students at all levels.

Table of Contents

  • 1. YouTube
  • 2. Ted-ED
  • 3. Google Scholar
  • 4. HippoCampus
  • 5. Khan Academy

1. YouTube

YouTube is a free-for-all content platform. It is this freedom that makes the platform good for students in search of alternative learning content. Scholars and tutors from different institutions produce and display their content on the platform.

YouTube provides the most diverse variety of content on all the topics you can imagine. The content is in the form of presentations, simulations, or dramatized videos. Since several YouTube account owners will tackle the same topic, you have a variety to choose from. You pick the content that appeals to your learning model.

YouTube is easy to use and accessible from any device. It is also free of charge, saving you the need to subscribe or buy content. You do not have to depend on a single account to learn the concepts you desire.

2. Ted-ED

Ted-Ed is a controlled platform. The tool has partnered with teachers, animators, and students, among other stakeholders in the education industry to provide target content. You will find explanations of the latest ideas in different disciplines.

Content on Ted-Ed is organized and regulated. It makes the platform professional and perfect for learning. Because information is democratized on Ted-Ed, students can personalize their learning mode. If you are looking for organized quality content online, this is the place to visit.

3. Google Scholar

Educationists have always worried about the quality of content online, especially to avoid misleading students. Google Scholar is an indexing search engine that privileges peer-reviewed and certified academic work whenever you search the internet. You are sure that the results coming out of the search are credible. You avoid having to rely on poor-quality academic materials.

4. HippoCampus

The name comes from the part of the brain that processes memory, motivation, and learning. It is a digital library with high-quality learning materials for different disciplines. You will find expertly prepared content on mathematics, history, languages, physics, and all the disciplines you can imagine. It also links you to other credible learning platforms where you can find quality references. You need to register to access the content on that platform. However, all the content remains free for all.

5. Khan Academy

Khan Academy is known for its free and high-quality educational resources. It is a perfect choice for students who want to study outside the class. The materials are curated, making it easier to find the materials you need. You will find all the content you need for your lessons.

Learning gets easier when you use diverse study materials. The internet has some of these materials, making your studies and revision enjoyable. Most of these materials are free or attract a reasonable subscription. Use the materials to improve your grades and make your studies more enjoyable.
