Why ARK Fatal Error Occured?

Fix 1: Verify the Integrity of Game Files
Unfortunately this extremely successful technique only allows Steam users to scan and reload the game’s installation folder easily for missing or corrupted files. Follow the following steps for ARK: Survival Evolved to see if the ARK fatal error is still present.
i) Ensure that Steam is opened by double-clicking on the desktop icon or looking for it in the Start menu. Switch to the sub-section Library and find out ARK: Survival Developed in your library in the list of games you own.
ii) Right-click on your name in the list and select Properties from the popup menu. Click the Verify the Game File Integrity tab and switch to the Local File tab.
iii) The tool is intended to download missing or corrupting files and then start the game and verify that the ARK: Fatal Error message continues to appear.
Fix 2: Install the Latest Available Graphics Card Driver

i) Click the Start menu icon on the bottom right of the screen, type in “Device Manager” with the opening menu. Simply click the first menu and select it from the results list.
ii) To launch the Run dialog box, you can also press the Windows Key + R key combo. In the dialog box, type “devmgmt.msc” and click OK to run it.
iii) As the video card driver you want to download on your PC, right-click on your video card and select the Device Uninstall option. Click the arrow next to your Display Adapters.
iv) Confirm any dialog choices that may request that the current graphics device driver be checked and wait until the process is finalized.
v) Search for your card driver and follow your directions which are there to be found in the card’s manufacturer’s website. You should then try different drivers, starting with the newest one, after searching for your card, OS and CPU.
vi) Save your computer install file and execute the executable. During the installation, your computer will reboot many times.
vii) Check that after launching the game the ARK Fatal error message appeared.
Fix 3: Disable game optimization in GeForce Experience
This approach could be of great assistance to users of NVIDIA who often experience this problem. What has happened is that there are issues with the game optimization feature in a new NVIDIA GeForce Experience update. It can be used to make the game work better, but several users say it crashed the game.
i) Open GeForce experience in the Desktop or Start menu by searching for it. Wait to the top right corner to open the Cog icon, and click from the home screen.
ii) Switch to Games and uncheck the “Automatically optimize newly added games” tab in Settings window. Automatic optimization for all games will be disabled. Check again the box and return to the GeForce Experience home page if you only want to exclude ARK.
iii) Hover over the game and click Details. You wish to stop optimization. A green check should show that Game is optimized. To confirm your decision, click on Return in the same line. Check that after the game crashes, ARK Fatal mistake still appears.
Fix 4: Run the Game in Compatibility Mode for Windows 7

i) The execution of the game can be found if you can find the Installation folder of the game manually. You should click on the Desktop or anywhere else to right-click the game shortcut and select Properties from the menu. One option is to search for ARK from the Start menu. Right-click the first result. You should open your shortcut, click on it right and select Properties.
ii) When you have set up the game via Steam, open its desktop shortcut or simply type “Steam” when you have clicked on the Start menu button to search for it from the start menu.
iii)Once you open the Steam client, navigate the ARK: Survival Evolved Enter from the menu in the Steam window on the top of the windio window to the Library tab.
iv) Right-click the game icon and select Properties from the context menu to navigate the Local Files tab immediately in the Properties window and click Browse Local Files. The Properties button is open. Right-click.
v) Navigate to ShooterGame >> Binaries >> Win64 inside the ARK folder and click right to the Properties file of ShooterGame.exe. Check the “Run this program in compatibility mode” option on the Compatibility tab in the Properties window. From the menu that appears, select the Windows 7 (recommended by us).
vi)Under the Settings section, select the box next to the entry “Run this program as an administrator” to give it more permissions to solve the problem.
vii) Enter your modifications and try restarting the game to see if the ARK Fatal error stops.
