Which free email service came to India first Yahoo or Hotmail and when?

Yahoo! Mail service was launched on October 8, 1997, whereas Hotmail was launched on July 4, 1996. The original name of Hotmail was “HoTMaiL”. Gmail, was launched later on in 2004. There are lots of other free email services in India which are great.
