Meta also showed Capri and Nova frame shapes and a limited-edition Fury sold only at Connect and Meta Lab stores. The company did not give a price for Fury. Meta says it will offer more than 100 glasses configurations across the Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta Glasses brands by the end of 2026.
Why the $349 Audio Model Costs More Than the $249 Adventurer
The camera-free pair is the more expensive one because Meta built it around all-day wear rather than capture. Ray-Ban Meta Audio weighs 43 grams and runs for up to 12 hours on a charge, with a further 48 hours from its case, according to Meta’s Connect announcement of 23 September 2026. It comes in Clubmaster and Burbank shapes across 23 colour and lens combinations.
The $249 Meta Adventurer, by contrast, carries a 12-megapixel camera that records 3K video and is rated for more than 8 hours of battery life. Retail listings at Best Buy and Meta’s own store describe the same camera and battery specification.
So the choice at the bottom of the range is not simply cheaper versus better. It is a camera you may not want in a meeting room against a lighter frame with longer battery life and no lens to explain to the people around you.

Meta has opened online ordering in the United States and the five new markets, and added a sizing tool for choosing a Neural Band size at home rather than at a fitting appointment. The company also announced hands-free navigation, a personalised video-call hologram and Dolby Atmos capture for the Display model. Rival hardware is priced far higher: Snap’s augmented reality Specs list at $2,195, and Snap has still not named a shipping date.
Meta VR Glasses Arrive in Spring 2027 for $1,299.99

Muse Comes to the Glasses
Meta is putting Muse, the personal AI agent it launched in the United States on 8 September 2026, onto the glasses in the coming months. Users will call the agent by name to trigger it hands-free, and Muse gets its own email address.
Meta named new shopping and productivity connectors including Walmart, Best Buy, Gap, Sephora, Ulta, Wayfair, Shop Pay, PayPal, Instacart, Notion, GitHub and Box, with Expedia described as coming soon. Amazon is not among them; Amazon blocked Muse from completing purchases on its site on 20 September 2026. What Meta Has Not Priced
Three things announced at Connect still carry no confirmed price or date. Meta gave no price for the Muse Charm and no price for the limited-edition Fury frames. The Hearing Enhancement feature, which Meta says is cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration for mild to moderate hearing loss, is set at $149.99 as a one-time purchase or included with a Meta One subscription, but Meta has said only that it arrives in the United States later in 2026 and has not named a date or other countries.
