    We only ever see one version of our faces, the one we see in the mirror, therefore we normally aren’t aware of these asymmetries. Because our features are asymmetrical, when we flip the mirror image, we realise exactly how different our face looks! We see the reversed form of our face when we gaze in the mirror.
