Beautiful, bright, spectacular. This type differs little from cross-stitch, because the principle of execution is the same, except that the pattern is created using tiny beads of different colors.
They can be matte, mother-of-pearl, shiny, transparent, like dewdrops on an early spring morning. What the market does not offer, there would be money and creative inspiration.
As for money, everything is somewhat more complicated here than with embroidery. A bag of 50 g beads costs about 5 dollars. And for a beautiful job, you will need quite a lot of shades.
However, let’s consider what else is needed to create beaded masterpieces:
Beads. Inspect old things for the presence of beaded decor that can be sported and used in work.
This way you will significantly save on materials. In general, make yourself a wonderful habit of not throwing anything away. If you are going to seriously take up needlework and, perhaps, make it your profession, anything can be useful to you! Tell your friends to ask before throwing away something unnecessary. Perhaps the decor from old clothes in your hands will find a new life.
Scheme for embroidery. To begin with, it is better to use a ready-made one. By the way, you can even buy a whole set where everything you need, including beads, will already be assembled. It’s not such a cheap treat. Even a small picture will cost you about 20 dollars. For a student, this is quite a substantial amount. Threads. They must match the beads in color.
Canvas. It is better to buy a special one, rather than save by using an old tablecloth. It is much easier to navigate on the embroidery canvas. Now you can buy a canvas on which the desired pattern has already been applied. This is very suitable for training. This can be purchased for only 5 dollars.
A needle for beads. The usual embroidery is not suitable here, especially if you work with small beads. A thick eyelet will not pass through the hole. Buy a set of beaded needles, it costs 5 dollars.

- A needle with a thick ear. When buying canvas, be sure to take the needle with you and check how easily the eyelet passes through the material. If this is not easy for him, imagine how you will suffer when you pass the tape itself through the fabric.
- Frame or hoop.
Embroidery with ribbons is not easy. It is necessary to constantly monitor that they do not twist and fit on the material in the right way. It may cost you a lot of nerves, but with patience, you will get an impressive result.
