Max Level Cap in Modern Warfare 3
The max level cap in Modern Warfare 3 is 55. This means that you can level up your operator from level 1 to level 55 by playing multiplayer matches and earning XP. Along the way, you will unlock various rewards, such as new loadouts, weapons, equipment, field upgrades, perks, and killstreaks. You can check your current level and the list of available rewards by pressing the menu button and selecting the Progression tab in the upper right corner of the main lobby.

Your level is shown in the top right corner of the main lobby, right above your operator; a circle in the top right corner also gives you a quick view of your progression to the next level.
