  • If you don’t have a correct driver connected with Windows 10 system, you can choose “Search automatically for updated driver software”. Windows will now scan the computer and as well as the internet automatically for any driver updates. After the scanning process, Windows will automatically install it. If there are no updates available, you will be notified as well.
  • If you find that there is no driver update available for the OS version, you can try to reinstall the mouse driver manually. You have to note down the name of the mouse in Device Manager. Next, you have to go to the Manufacturer’s website to install the latest version of the mouse driver.

Once you are done with the downloading process for the current mouse driver, go back to the Device Manager. Next, go to the Mouse Properties and then to the “Device” section. In the Device tab, you have to choose the “Uninstall’ option. Now, install the mouse driver that you have recently downloaded. Restart the device to check the error persist or not.

Method 4: Enhance Pointer Precision From Control Panel

If you are still facing a wireless mouse error in Windows 10 system, you can go for turning on and off the Mouse Acceleration from the System Settings option. And for that, you have to do the following steps:

  • You have to first, write “Control Panel” in the Start search box.

  • From the Control Panel tab, you have to click on the “Hardware & Sound” option and choose “Mouse” next.
  • In the Mouse Properties, go to the “Pointer Options” section. Then, you have to untick the “Enhance pointer precision” box to turn the acceleration option off.
