The rumored Galaxy Note 20 Ultra allegedly spotted a newly leaked feature.
YouTuber Jimmy Is Promo (h/t: XDA-Developers) tweeted an image that shows a new pointer mode for the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 Ultra that could transform the S Pen into a digital pointer.
S Pen can now act as a Pointer. Select your color and select icons on the screen, navigate around. Also can highlight an area. #Note20 #GalaxyNote20Ultra

Users are required to “press and hold the Pen button” to move the pointer, as per the image. Users can also highlight selected areas, tap icons, and “navigate around.” You can also change the color, design, and pace of the pointer.
The feature does suggest that the S Pen could have a future as more than just a stylus. Although it currently has only one click, the S Pen could fit well as a wireless mouse that is always available for use in Dex. However, it is not yet clear whether the stylus is willing to adopt that functionality in the iteration of the Note by 2020.
If no additional hardware is needed, pointer mode may potentially find its way through a software update to the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy S6 Tab. It will possibly also appear in Note 20 and Note 20 Plus. We should not, however, rule out the feature that hits the rumored Galaxy Tab S7.
The Galaxy Note 20 series of Samsung is scheduled to be announced on 5 August 2020.
