Over recent years, phone charging speeds have been very good, but today Oppo has probably demonstrated what could be the fastest power charger on a smartphone in the world.
The new 125 Watt Flash Charger power adapter from Oppo builds on the previous SúperVooc charging technology and promises to charge the 4000 mAh phone battery in 5 minutes to 41% in an ideal scenario, or 100% in just 20 minutes.
Oppo’s charging technology might be a life-saving solution in those circumstances where you have just forgotten to charge the phone.
Nevertheless, the technology is somewhat constrained. Oppo says that charging from 0 to 100% takes about 20 minutes in the ordinal conditions of a 40 degree Celsius or less.
Oppo also said that its new 125-watt Flash Charge adapter will support older phones with Super VOOC and VOOC charging protocols like the Oppo Reno 2.
In the meantime, Oppo takes readings from 10 extra temperature sensors to avoid overheating and also fuse overvoltage protection measures to prevent damage to your handset by 125-watt Flash Charge.
