Kolkata Metro Railway President Manoj Joshi has released an easy-to-use official mobile app for online recharging and providing useful information to the passengers.
Joshi launched the whole in-house app on the 74th Independence Day.
In addition to online recharge of smart cards, users can receive information on passenger services live alerts, station information, train times, fare structures and passengers’ general instructions, the general commuter message manager’s information, tender details, the metro track map and the tour guide.
This mobile app is available on Kolkata Metro official website i.e, https://mtp.indianrailways.gov.in/
How to Download and Install the App?
The application will be available on the Google Play Store within a few days. Users can download it from the official website of the Metro Railway. The following steps are provided to download the app:
On the official website of Metro Railway, mtp.indianrailways.gov.in Click on the “Metro Railway Official Mobile App” Link, Click on Package Installer, click on Install and the app.
