On Monday at Google for India Live Event, Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced a $10 billion investment in India. Over the course of the following five to seven years, the amount will be contributed to speed up the digital economy of India.

Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a discussion with Google CEO Sundar Pichai, on a wide range of topics. The Prime Minister also told about the global pandemic situation and the new working culture of the business leaders.

Sundar Pichai also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his vision of Digital India, with cheap smartphones, affordable data and world-class telecommunication infrastructures, made the Internet available to one billion Indians.
