After Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk encouraged the people to “trash” him on the site Wikipedia Page has been locked out for edit. Plenty of his followers decided to accept his offer, it a quite surprising matter.
“History is written by the victors … except on Wikipedia,” Musk tweeted on Sunday.
Musk told his 37 million followers to come and “trash” him on the site in the following tweet, which allowed everyone to edit his page.

“All major wars, diseases and financial disasters of the last century can be directly attributed to Mr Musk or one of his companies,” one user edited the page. He even tagged Elon Musk with a screenshot on Twitter, Elon Musk replied with a laughing face emoji.

Wikipedia quickly locked the Musk’s Wikipedia page, which restricts changes to the website editors alone. A note appeared that the page is now “protected to prevent vandalism” for those still trying to modify, which left many of Musk’s supporters slightly disappointed.
