Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Recommends CBI Probe in Sushant Singh Case

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar proposed a CBI investigation into the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, after talking to his father, KK Singh. The minister said the Bihar administration is going to seek a CBI inquiry.

Shiv Sena ‘s leader Priyanka Chaturvedi said it was a Political Step for the Bihar CM, hours after Chef Nitish Kumar announced that the Bihar government had agreed to suggest a CBI survey on Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

Priyanka Chaturvedi tweeted that only the Maharashtra government would agree on a CBI examination. She said that there are no rights for the Bihar police or government in this matter.

In addition, Priyanka Chaturvedi, slamming Nitish Kumar on his comment, said the statement made by the Chief Minister of Bihar was not based on constitutional law.

The Bihar Government can not recommend a CBI probe in the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput when the police in this state has no jurisdiction to even investigate the case, Lawyer of Rhea Chakraborty stated.

There can be no move for Bihar Police to participate in a case that has no legal basis to continue with. Chakraborty lawyer Satish Maneshinde claimed that, at most, it would be a Zero FIR that would be transferred to Mumbai Police.
