The much-awaited Amazon Prime Day Sale will go live in India on 6 August. The Prime Day sales are exclusively for the Prime Member Holders and there will be discounts on many items, including mobile, laptops, tablets, game consoles and more. Like this Amazon is trying to get more and more customers to join Amazon Prime.
At present, the Grand Game Days sale is live. The sale is of Gaming consoles, tablets, mouse, keyboards and is offering huge discounts.
Generally, in July, the Prime Day Sale of Amazon goes live but due to the risks of the coronavirus it postponed.
Sales of Prime Day will start on 6 August at 12:00 p.m. and last until 7 August. Prime members are offered exclusive items such as tablets, laptops, appliances, TVs, kitchens, everyday needs, toys, clothes, cosmetics, etc. During Prime Day sales, Amazon is also releasing 300 new items. Members also have a 10% instant discount if they are debit and credit cardholders of HDFC banks and they also make use of EMI transactions.

Amazon will also release new films during the Prime Day Sale, along with discounts on its goods. Four new films including Birds of Prey, Shakuntala Devi, Gemini Man and Bandish Bandits will be launched in the streaming app. Due to the coronavirus, movies are released on OTT channels instead of theatres.
Users will have to buy Amazon Prime Membership first to access consumer offers and watch the new videos. Membership for Rs 129 is available every month and users can select the Rs 999 annual plan.
